Her work is inspired by nature, dance, music, and women’s histories and combines visual arts and textile design. Juliana is enthusiastic about storytelling and uncovering the hidden narratives behind objects that interest her, particularly textiles. She views art-making as a form of meditation, delighting in the craft involved in creating art. She often explores techniques that involve a connection between hand and brain, such as drawing and loves experimenting with diverse drawing materials.
