Obtuvo un Master of Fine Arts en Emily Carr University, Vancouver, Canad\u00e1, &nbsp;Maestra en Artes Pl\u00e1sticas de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, particip\u00f3 en un &nbsp;intercambio acad\u00e9mico en Concordia University, Montreal. En 2019 Silva recibi\u00f3 el&nbsp;&nbsp;premio&nbsp;The Andrea Brussa Master Artist Endowment otorgado por The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity para asistir a la residencia art\u00edstica The Creative Gesture: Costume&nbsp;&nbsp;Design for Dance. Tambi\u00e9n en el 2018 fue merecedora de una de las bolsas de trabajo del 16 sal\u00f3n Regional de Artistas \u2013 Ministerio de Cultura de Colombia para desarrollar su m\u00e1s reciente proyecto. En&nbsp;2016&nbsp;Silva &nbsp;fue artista en residencia&nbsp;en&nbsp;Independent Residency \u2013 BAiR&nbsp;en The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">En 2018 particip\u00f3 en&nbsp;16th Biennial Symposium of The Textile Society of America llevado a cabo en Vancouver, donde present\u00f3 una investigaci\u00f3n que explora la cultura material&nbsp;&nbsp;a trav\u00e9s de su pr\u00e1ctica art\u00edstica y desde una perspectiva sociol\u00f3gica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:15px\">Ella ha exhibido su trabajo en Colombia y Canad\u00e1. Silva trabaja con escultura, instalaci\u00f3n, fotograf\u00eda, pintura y animaci\u00f3n.
